7027.1150 STANDARDS FOR APPLIANCE RECYCLERS.

Subpart 1.

Technician certification records.

A person engaged in the business of recycling appliances as described in Minnesota Statutes, section 115A.9561, subdivision 2, shall:

A.

possess the appropriate technician certification from a program approved by the commissioner; and

B.

retain proof of technician certification at the place of business and at the work site, if different, to enable the commissioner to verify the identity and certification of each person.

Subp. 2.

Subp. 3.

Record keeping.

A person engaged in the business of recycling appliances as described in Minnesota Statutes, section 115A.9561, subdivision 2, shall:

A.

ensure that a copy of the certification required pursuant to subpart 1, item A, is retained on file and made available at the place of business and at the work site, if different, during a technician's employment with the business;

B.

retain a copy of the certification required pursuant to subpart 1, item A, on file for a minimum of three years after the technician leaves employment of the business; and

C.

ensure that a copy of the certification required pursuant to subpart 2 is retained at the place of business and at the work site, if different.
