7001.3450 FINAL APPLICATION INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS FOR REFUSE-DERIVED FUEL PROCESSING FACILITIES.

The final application for a refuse-derived fuel processing facility permit must include the following information in addition to the information required by part 7001.3300:

A.

a description of the area proposed to be used for separation of the solid waste into its components, such as ferrous metals, screenings, refuse-derived fuel materials, and residuals;

B.

a description of the facility design, including storage areas, prior to and after processing, processing areas, loading areas for removal of the waste components, and how the processed waste is further used in an on-site solid waste management facility;

C.

a description of the end products;

D.

a material flow and balance calculation used to design the facility;

E.

the design of an odor and a particulate or fugitive dust control system;

F.

the design, construction, and operating specifications;

G.

an operations plan including the specific manuals for operating the processing equipment and protective measures to prevent explosions;

H.

a description of the proposed end uses for each waste component; and

I.

any additional information necessary to meet the requirements of part 7035.2875.
