A county board may receive state reimbursement for providing semi-independent living services to a person with developmental disability who is 18 years of age or older and who has been determined by the case manager to:
need less than a 24-hour plan of care; and
be unable to function independently without semi-independent living services.
For purposes of parts 9525.0900 to 9525.1020, a person receiving adult foster care services under parts 9545.0010 to 9545.0260 is not deemed to have a 24-hour plan of care. Adult foster care services and SILS may be delivered concurrently if:
the delivery of both services would not result in a duplication of services to the participant; and
the goal of the SILS is to increase the participant's level of independence.
