9500.1202 PURPOSE OF GENERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

The purposes of the general assistance program are:

A.

to provide financial assistance and services to persons unable to provide for themselves, who have not refused suitable employment, and who are not otherwise provided for by law; and

B.

to aid those persons who can be helped to become self-supporting or to attain self-care.
