7406.0700 EXCEPTION TO VOLUME AND DISTANCE REQUIREMENTS.

A new deputy registrar may be appointed upon the death, resignation, revocation, or retirement of an existing deputy registrar whose office does not comply with the requirements for distance or number of applications for registration processed in part 7406.0300 if the provisions in this part are met.

A.

The new deputy registrar must locate the office in the same city.

B.

The office location must meet the office requirements under part 7406.0400 and must have all equipment necessary to process and report transactions and collect and report state taxes and fees.

C.

If the commissioner approves the exception, the commissioner shall use the appointment process specified in parts 7406.0350 to 7406.0360.
