6700.2702 TRAINING REQUIREMENTS.

The chief law enforcement officer of each law enforcement agency shall adopt specific training requirements concerning pursuits based on:

A.

written procedures governing conduct of peace officers who are in pursuit of a vehicle being operated in violation of Minnesota Statutes, section 609.487;

B.

type of agency and geographical location;

C.

training needs of the peace officers within the agency;

D.

overall training needs of the agency; and

E.

an analysis of the evaluations of previous pursuits.
