6301.2350 GRANTING APPROVAL.

Subpart 1.

Program accreditation.

All Board of Nursing-approved nursing education programs must provide evidence of current accreditation by a national nursing accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education by January 1, 2018, or must have achieved candidacy status leading to such accreditation and demonstrated satisfactory progression toward obtaining the accreditation.

Subp. 2.

Initial program approval.

The board shall grant initial approval to nursing education programs that demonstrate compliance with part 6301.2360, subpart 5.

Subp. 3.

Continuing program approval.

The board shall continue approval for programs that comply with all applicable rules including the survey requirements in part 6301.2360, subparts 2 and 3.
