Mining shall be conducted in a manner that will minimize hazardous conditions that result from subsidence.
Mining techniques must meet the requirements in items A to C.
If actual or likely subsidence occurs, the permittee shall establish ground control survey locations and conduct surveys to document the extent of ground movement.
Areas affected by subsidence shall be contoured or filled to protect public health and safety or natural resources.
