4731.4452 BRACHYTHERAPY SOURCES ACCOUNTABILITY.

A.

A licensee must maintain accountability at all times for all brachytherapy sources in storage or use.

B.

As soon as possible after removing sources from a patient or human research subject, a licensee must return brachytherapy sources to a secure storage area.

C.

A licensee must maintain a record of the brachytherapy source accountability according to part 4731.4512.
