4717.2150 WATER SUPPLY.

Subpart 1.

Potable supply.

The water supply serving a pool and all plumbing fixtures, including drinking fountains, lavatories, and showers, must meet the requirements of the commissioner for potable water specified in chapters 4720 and 4725.

Subp. 2.

Backflow prevention.

All portions of the water distribution system serving the pool and related facilities must be protected against backflow. Water introduced into the pool, either directly or through the recirculation system, must be supplied through an air gap or protected with a suitable backflow preventer as specified in parts 4715.2000 to 4715.2170.
