4695.3200 ORGANIZATION, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

The council shall be organized and administered under the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, section 15.059, and the commissioner's policies relating to advisory councils. The council shall:

A.

advise the commissioner regarding environmental health specialist/sanitarian registration standards;

B.

advise the commissioner on enforcement of the environmental health specialist/sanitarian rules;

C.

provide for the dissemination of information regarding environmental health specialist/sanitarian registration standards; and

D.

review applications and recommend applicants for registration or registration renewal.
