4665.1300 RESIDENT DEATH.

When a resident dies:

A.

the date, time and circumstances of the resident's death shall be recorded in the resident's record;

B.

if the resident dies in the facility, the coroner's office shall be notified;

C.

personal belongings shall be handled in a responsible and legal manner; and

D.

records of a deceased individual shall be retained for a period of three years following death.
