4626.1340 6-201.12 FLOORS, WALLS, AND CEILINGS; UTILITY LINES.

A.

Utility service lines and pipes shall not be unnecessarily exposed.

B.

Exposed utility service lines and pipes shall be installed so they do not obstruct or prevent cleaning of the floors, walls, or ceilings.

C.

Exposed utility service lines and pipes shall not be installed directly on the walls or floor, except:

(1)

quick disconnect gas hoses approved by the American Gas Association or NSF International; and

(2)

flexible cords and caps for commercial cooking equipment on casters, listed by Underwriter's Laboratory.
