4626.1335 6-201.11 FLOORS, WALLS, AND CEILINGS.

A.

Except as specified in part 4626.1350, the floors, floor coverings, walls, wall coverings, and ceilings shall be designed, constructed, and installed so they are smooth and easily cleanable, except that antislip floor coverings or applications may be used for safety reasons.

B.

Surfaces shall be maintained in good repair.

C.

Vinyl flooring is prohibited in a walk-in cooler or freezer.

D.

Sealed concrete is prohibited in those areas described in part 4626.1325, item A, subitem (3), if food product packages, containers, or cases in those areas are opened. Sealed concrete is permitted in areas used exclusively for refuse storage.
