3512.2100 INITIAL LICENSE.

A.

Licensure applicants must meet the requirements for each administrative area where the applicant seeks licensure. The board must issue an initial license to an applicant who meets all of the following requirements. An applicant must:

(1)

fulfill the requirements of part 3512.2000, subparts 1 and 2; and

(2)

either:

(a)

be recommended for licensure by a board-approved program which, in making such a recommendation, attests to the applicant satisfactorily completing the approved program; or

(b)

be an applicant from another state who qualifies for licensure under part 3512.2600.

B.

A candidate who does not qualify for a continuing license issued under part 3512.2300 may apply to renew an initial license every two years and is not required to complete any clock hours of continuing education in order to renew an initial license.
