2945.5420 HOSPITALIZATION OF A PRISONER.

Subpart 1.

Agreement between facility and hospital.

Each facility must have an agreement with a hospital in the same or nearby community permitting admission of a prisoner on the recommendation of the attending physician.

Subp. 2.

Guarding of prisoner.

When a prisoner requires hospitalization, the prisoner must be guarded 24 hours a day unless the prisoner is not in need of supervision or the prisoner is medically incapacitated in the opinion of the attending physician.
