2105.0184 MILITARY TEMPORARY LICENSE.
Subpart 1.
Application and issuance.
In compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 197.4552, the board shall issue military temporary (MT) licenses for cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians, eyelash technicians, salon managers, instructors, and school managers valid for a 12-month license cycle. An applicant for an MT license must submit:

credentials establishing the applicant's identity as:
(3)
a veteran with an honorable or general discharge who left service in the two years preceding the application date;
C.
a copy of a current valid license without a history of discipline for a cosmetologist, esthetician, nail technician, eyelash technician, salon manager, school manager, or instructor from another state; and
Subp. 2.
Ineligible for renewal.
MT licenses are not eligible for renewal. Individuals issued an MT license must apply for a full practitioner's license under this chapter. If the individual has not been issued a regular license before the MT license expires, the individual must cease practicing until a license is issued.
