1513.0010 INTRODUCTION.

Subpart 1.

Scope.

This chapter is adopted under Minnesota Statutes, section 18C.121, to regulate the design, construction, repair, alteration, location, installation, and operation of agricultural anhydrous ammonia systems with product used or intended for use as a fertilizer.

Subp. 2.

Exceptions.

This chapter does not apply to:

A.

ammonia manufacturing plants;

B.

refrigeration systems where ammonia is used solely as a refrigerant;

C.

ammonia transportation pipelines;

D.

ammonia barges and tankers; and

E.

ammonia regulated under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 326.
