1205.1700 GENERAL POWERS OF THE COMMISSIONER.

Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 13.05, subdivision 2 and to assist in the general implementation and enforcement of the act, the commissioner shall have the following powers:

A.

If the commissioner determines that certain information is relevant to monitoring any entity's data collection and handling practices, policies, and procedures, the commissioner shall require the responsible authority of such entity to submit the information.

B.

Any inquiries concerning the act or these rules and any information submissions required to be made by item A shall be directed to: Data Privacy Division, Department of Administration, State of Minnesota, 50 Sherburne Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55155.

C.

The Data Privacy Division shall respond promptly to all inquiries within personnel and budgetary limitations.
