                             CHAPTER 43-H.F.No. 228 
                  An act relating to occupations and professions; board 
                  of medical practice; reinstating certain advisory 
                  councils. 
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  [REINSTATEMENT OF ADVISORY COUNCILS.] 
           Notwithstanding Laws 1993, chapter 286, section 1, and Laws 
        1993, chapter 337, section 1, the physical therapy council 
        established in Minnesota Statutes, section 148.67, and the 
        physician assistant advisory council and the respiratory care 
        practitioners' advisory council established under Minnesota 
        Statutes, section 214.13, subdivision 4, are reinstated.  These 
        groups are subject to the expiration date in Minnesota Statutes, 
        section 15.059, subdivision 5. 
           Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
           Section 1 is effective on the day following final enactment.
