                  An act relating to Western Lake Superior Sanitary 
                  District; providing for compliance with certain 
                  requirements of the Internal Revenue Code; proposing 
                  coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 458D.
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  [458D.145] [APPLICABLE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE.] 
           For purposes of section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code 
        of 1986 and any successor provisions requiring public approval 
        for qualified bonds, the applicable elected representative of 
        the board shall be all the state senators representing any part 
        of the geographic area of the district.
