           An act relating to state lands; prohibiting sale of 
          state lands administered by the department of natural 
          resources to any employee of the department; proposing 
          coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 92. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  [92.71] [DIRECT SALE TO DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE 
PROHIBITED.] 
    An employee of the department of natural resources is 
prohibited from purchasing land owned or formerly owned by the 
state and administered by the department for six months 
following the transfer of title from the state to an 
organization or person not an employee of the department.
