An act relating to natural resources; authorizing a
private sale of certain state fisheries land.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. [SALE OF CERTAIN FISHERIES LAND.]
Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 94.09 to 94.16
or any other law, the commissioner of natural resources may sell
by private sale for a consideration of not less than the
appraised value, excluding improvements, to John W. and Edna
Loomer, husband and wife, of Clitherall, Minnesota, that certain
tract of state fisheries land located in Otter Tail County and
described as:
Res. 2 of Whiting's Addition to the City of Clitherall,
containing 1.27 acres more or less; which tract was formerly
owned by the Loomer's, was conveyed to the department of natural
resources for spawning area purposes, and is now surplus to the
needs of the department. Conveyance shall be in a form approved
by the attorney general.
Sec. 2. [EFFECTIVE DATE.]
Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment
and expires one year thereafter.
