           An act relating to health; authorizing the board of 
          dentistry to adopt rules relating to special training 
          and education of dentists; amending Minnesota Statutes 
          1982, section 150A.04, subdivision 5. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1982, section 150A.04, 
subdivision 5, is amended to read: 
    Subd. 5.  [RULES.] The board may promulgate such rules as 
are necessary to carry out and make effective the provisions and 
purposes of sections 150A.01 to 150A.12, in accordance with 
sections 14.02, 14.04 to 14.36, 14.38, 14.44 to 14.45, and 14.57 
to 14.62.  The rules may specify training and education 
necessary for administering general anesthesia and intravenous 
conscious sedation.
