                        CHAPTER 402-H.F.No. 1381
           An act relating to the city of Caledonia; providing 
          for the appointment of members to the library board; 
          authorizing terms of service. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  [CITY OF CALEDONIA; LIBRARY BOARD.] 
    Minnesota Statutes, section 134.09, subdivisions 1 and 2 
shall apply to the city of Caledonia except that the city 
council may appoint members of the library board from among 
residents of the service area of the library and members of the 
library board may serve more than three consecutive terms.  
    Sec. 2.  [LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
    This act is effective the day after compliance with 
Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivision 3, by the 
governing body of the city of Caledonia.
