           An act relating to retirement; repealing obsolete 
          investment language applicable to third and fourth 
          class city police relief associations; repealing 
          Minnesota Statutes 1982, sections 423.389 and 423.60. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  [REPEAL.] 
     Minnesota Statutes 1982, sections 423.389 and 423.60, are 
repealed.  
     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
     This act is effective on the day following final enactment. 
    Approved April 19, 1983
