Subp. 4.

Permanent absentee voter.

An eligible voter under Minnesota Statutes, section 203B.04, subdivision 5, may apply to the county auditor or municipal clerk using a form provided by the secretary of state to automatically receive an absentee ballot for each election in which the voter is eligible to vote. The voter's permanent absentee voter status must be indicated and permanently maintained on the voter's registration record on the statewide voter registration system.

The county auditor shall maintain a list of voters who have applied to automatically receive an absentee ballot.
