6400.7025 EVIDENCE OF COURSE COMPLETION.

Subpart 1.

Types of evidence.

Evidence to verify satisfactory completion of requirements in part 6400.7005 must consist of documentation or attestation of the program director designated in part 6400.7040, subpart 2, showing completion of a course of study approved by the board or NAB including the domains of practice identified in NAB's job analysis for assisted living directors and the topics listed in parts 6400.7015 and 6400.7020. Attestations of course completion by the course provider must be submitted to the board.

Subp. 2.

Supplementing evidence older than seven years.

Evidence presented under subpart 1 for completion of academic programs or academic courses taken more than seven years prior to the submission of information to the board must be supplemented by either:

A.

evidence that the applicant has been employed within the last seven years in a capacity that required using the knowledge gained in the core course requirements; or

B.

evidence that the applicant has completed continuing education within the past two years to renew and update knowledge gained in any academic course taken more than seven years prior to submission.

Subp. 3.

No additional fees required.

No fees in excess of fees associated with the standard application process may be charged to applicants for review of continuing education courses submitted as evidence to meet course requirements.
