Participants who qualify for child care assistance programs under chapter 119B, Minnesota supplemental aid under chapter 256D, and group residential housing under chapter 256I on the basis of eligibility for Supplemental Security Income are exempt from this section.

The agency shall disregard the first $65 of earned income plus one-half of the remaining earned income per month.
