An act
relating to human rights; adding a definition of race to the Minnesota Human Rights Act;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 363A.03, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 363A.03, is amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin "Race" is inclusive of traits associated with race, including but not limited to hair texture and hair styles such as braids, locs, and twists. new text end
