BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin Notwithstanding the time limits of Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivision 3, the chief clerical officer of the Cedar Lake area water and sanitary sewer district may file with the secretary of state a certificate of approval of Laws 2014, chapter 308, article 2, section 16, by June 30, 2015. If the certificate is filed as required by this section, Laws 2014, chapter 308, article 2, section 16, is effective retroactively from May 21, 2014. new text end
