An act
relating to public employment; changing the definition of a confidential employee;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 179A.03, subdivision 4.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
"Confidential employee" means an employee who as part of the employee's job duties:
(1) has access to is required to access and use labor relations information as that term is defined in section 13.37, subdivision 1, paragraph (c); or
(2) actively participates in the meeting and negotiating on behalf of the public employer.
This section is effective the day following final enactment.
