An act

relating to state government; providing deficiency funding for certain state agencies; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

SUMMARY OF APPROPRIATIONS.

The sums shown in the columns marked "Appropriations" are appropriated from the general fund, or another named fund, to the agencies and for the purposes specified in this act, to be available for the fiscal year indicated for each purpose, and are added to appropriations in Laws 2007, chapters 135 and 147. The figure "2008," where used in this act, means that the appropriation or appropriations listed under it are available for the year ending June 30, 2008.

Sec. 2.

MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY.

$ 175,000

This appropriation is for administration of the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission and is added to the appropriations in Laws 2007, chapter 135, article 1, section 9, subdivision 2, paragraph (a).

Sec. 3.

BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS.

$ 150,000

This appropriation from the state government special revenue fund is added to appropriations in Laws 2007, chapter 147, article 19, section 6, subdivision 2.

Sec. 4.

BOARD OF DENTISTRY.

$ 100,000

This appropriation from the state government special revenue fund is added to appropriations in Laws 2007, chapter 147, article 19, section 6, subdivision 2.

Sec. 5.

BOARD OF VETERINARY MEDICINE.

$ 54,000

This appropriation from the state government special revenue fund is added to appropriations in Laws 2007, chapter 147, article 19, section 6, subdivision 15.

Sec. 6.

EFFECTIVE DATE.

Sections 1 to 5 are effective the day following final enactment.
