amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 609.75, subdivision 4; repealing Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 349.40.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
A gambling device is a contrivance which for a consideration affords the player an opportunity to obtain something of value, other than free plays, automatically from the machine or otherwise, the award of which is determined principally by chance. "Gambling device" also includes a video game of chance, as defined in subdivision 8.
