                  An act relating to elections; repealing certain 
                  changes made in the definitions of major and minor 
                  political parties; repealing Laws 2003, First Special 
                  Session chapter 9, article 2, sections 41, 42. 
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  [REPEALER.] 
           The amendments to Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 200.02, 
        subdivisions 7 and 23, made by Laws 2003, First Special Session 
        chapter 9, article 2, sections 41 and 42, if enacted, are 
        repealed and of no effect. 
           [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
        following final enactment.
