Minnesota Session Laws - 2002, Regular Session

                            CHAPTER 266-S.F.No. 3045 
                  An act relating to domestic abuse; authorizing 
                  extension of the domestic fatality review team pilot 
                  project in the fourth judicial district.  
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  [DOMESTIC FATALITY REVIEW TEAM PILOT PROJECT 
        EXTENSION.] 
           The fourth judicial district may extend the duration of the 
        pilot project authorized by Laws 1999, chapter 216, article 2, 
        section 27, and Laws 2000, chapter 468, sections 29 to 32, until 
        December 31, 2004.  If the pilot project is extended, the 
        domestic fatality review team shall submit a report on the 
        project to the legislature by January 15, 2005. 
           Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
           Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
