                            CHAPTER 253-S.F.No. 2320 
                  An act relating to towns; authorizing the Crow Wing 
                  county board to change the name of the township of 
                  Lake Edwards upon receipt of a resolution from the 
                  town board. 
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  [NAME CHANGE.] 
           Notwithstanding the petition requirements of Minnesota 
        Statutes, chapter 379, the Crow Wing county board may change the 
        name of the township of Lake Edwards to the township of Lake 
        Edward upon receipt of a resolution requesting the change from 
        the board of supervisors of the township of Lake Edwards.
