Minnesota Session Laws - 1994, Regular Session

                            CHAPTER 415-H.F.No. 2692 
                  An act relating to state lands; authorizing private 
                  sale of certain state land in Crow Wing county to 
                  resolve an encroachment situation. 
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  [SALE OF ACQUIRED STATE LAND, CROW WING 
        COUNTY.] 
           (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 92.45, and 
        the public sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, sections 94.09 
        to 94.165, the commissioner of natural resources may sell by 
        private sale the land which is described in paragraph (c), under 
        the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 94. 
           (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
        attorney general. 
           (c) The land that may be sold is located in Crow Wing 
        county, consists of about 0.61 acres, and is described as that 
        part of Outlot B, White Pine Beach, beginning at the iron 
        monument at the Northeast corner of said Outlot B, said point 
        also being the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the 
        Northeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 44 North, Range 29 
        West; thence south 88 degrees 58 minutes 23 seconds West, 
        assumed bearing, 203.51 feet along the North line of said Outlot 
        B, also being along the South line of said Northeast Quarter of 
        the Northeast Quarter, to an iron monument; thence South 33 
        degrees 18 minutes 10 seconds East 201.69 feet to an iron 
        monument; thence South 72 degrees 14 minutes 14 seconds East 
        96.53 feet to an iron monument on the East line of said Outlot 
        B, also being the East line of said Section 5; thence North 0 
        degrees 13 minutes 44 seconds East 201.67 feet along the East 
        line of said Outlot B, also being along the East line of said 
        Section 5 to the point of beginning; subject to any easements, 
        reservations, or restrictions of record. 
           (d) The commissioner intends to sell this land to Natalie 
        Jean LeDoux in order to resolve a long-standing encroachment 
        situation.
