                  An act relating to education; permitting school boards 
                  to begin the 1994-1995 school year before Labor Day. 
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  [EXEMPTION TO SCHOOL START RESTRICTION.] 
           For the 1994-1995 school year, a school board may begin the 
        elementary or secondary school year on the Thursday or Friday 
        prior to Labor Day.
