                            CHAPTER 523-S.F.No. 2467 
                  An act relating to game and fish; modifying size 
                  limits for walleye; changing the boundary of the West 
                  Central Goose Zone; amending Minnesota Statutes 1993 
                  Supplement, section 97C.401, subdivision 2. 
        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
           Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1993 Supplement, section 
        97C.401, subdivision 2, is amended to read: 
           Subd. 2.  [WALLEYE; NORTHERN PIKE.] (a) Except as provided 
        in paragraphs (b) and (c), a person may take no more than one 
        walleye larger than 20 24 inches and one northern pike larger 
        than 30 inches daily.  
           (b) The restrictions in paragraph (a) do not apply to 
        boundary waters except Lake of the Woods. 
           (c) On Lake of the Woods, a person may take no more than 
        one walleye larger than 19.5 inches and one northern pike larger 
        than 30 36 inches daily. 
           Sec. 2.  [WEST CENTRAL GOOSE ZONE; BOUNDARY CHANGE.] 
           The boundary of that portion of the West Central Goose Zone 
        that is located within Big Stone county is changed to the 
        following:  Starting at Ortonville, north along U.S. Route No. 
        75 to County Road No. 10, then east to the present boundary. 
           Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
           Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final 
        enactment.
