                        CHAPTER 73-H.F.No. 1474 
           An act relating to county records; providing for the 
          use of certain fees; amending Minnesota Statutes 1992, 
          section 357.18, by adding a subdivision. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1992, section 357.18, is 
amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
    Subd. 4.  [EQUIPMENT FUND.] $1 of each fee collected under 
subdivision 1, clause (1), shall be deposited in an equipment 
fund to be disbursed at the county recorder's discretion to 
provide modern information services from the records system.
