                         CHAPTER 78-H.F.No. 819 
           An act relating to Hennepin county; providing for the 
          number of commissioners of the county housing and 
          redevelopment authority; amending Minnesota Statutes 
          1988, section 383B.77, by adding a subdivision. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1988, section 383B.77, is 
amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
    Subd. 4.  [COMMISSIONERS.] Notwithstanding section 469.003, 
subdivision 5, the Hennepin county housing and redevelopment 
authority shall consist of seven commissioners. 
    Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
    Section 1 is effective the day after compliance with 
Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivision 3, by the 
Hennepin county board of commissioners.
