                        CHAPTER 407-S.F.No. 1745

Pearl Lake lakeshore parcel in Stearns county.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. [SALE OF PEARL LAKE PARCEL IN STEARNS COUNTY.]
Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45, 94.09,
94.10, or any other law, the commissioner of natural resources
may offer and sell certain land to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Herges
before July 1, 1987.
The land described in this section may be sold by private
sale for a consideration not less than its appraised value. The
conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general.
The land that may be sold is that part of Government Lot 2
of Section 3, Township 122 North, Range 29 West, Stearns county,
Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at center of said Section; thence southerly
along the west line of said Government Lot 2 a distance of

Number 146; thence continue southerly along said west line
to a point which is 405.90 feet southerly of said center of
Section; thence deflect to the left 104 degrees 53 minutes
along the northerly boundary of miscellaneous tract of
record a distance of 450 feet to point "A"; thence deflect

This land is presently an unneeded portion of land to be
used for future expansion of a public access. The described
tract to be conveyed to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Herges, adjoining
landowners, will result in straightening the property line and
ensure that the view of the Herges will not be obstructed by the
future expansion.
    Sec. 2. [EFFECTIVE DATE.]
Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
