                        CHAPTER 328-S.F.No. 1794
           An act relating to Washington county; permitting the 
          negotiated sale of certain property; repealing a 
          provision relating to county interests in certain 
          hospital property; repealing Laws 1959, chapter 14, 
          section 1, subdivision 5. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  [WASHINGTON COUNTY; PROPERTY SALE.] 
    Washington county may negotiate a sale to Lakeview Memorial 
Hospital, Stillwater, Minnesota, of the county's social service 
building and the land where it is located.  Negotiation of the 
sale shall not be limited by any inconsistent provision of 
Minnesota Statutes, section 373.01 or other law. 
    Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
    Laws 1959, chapter 14, section 1, subdivision 5, is 
repealed. 
    Sec. 3.  [LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
    This act is effective the day after compliance with 
Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivision 3, by the 
governing body of Washington county.
