                         CHAPTER 8-S.F.No. 333 
           An act relating to the town of Cannon Falls; 
          authorizing the establishment of a detached banking 
          facility. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  [TOWN OF CANNON FALLS; DETACHED BANKING 
FACILITIES.] 
    With the prior approval of the commissioner of commerce, 
any bank doing business within 25 miles of the city of Cannon 
Falls may establish and maintain not more than one detached 
facility in the town of Cannon Falls outside of the corporate 
limits of the city of Cannon Falls.  Any bank desiring to 
establish a detached facility must follow the approval procedure 
prescribed in Minnesota Statutes, section 47.54.  The 
establishment of a detached facility pursuant to this section is 
subject to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, sections 47.51 
to 47.57, except insofar as inconsistent with this section.  
    Sec. 2.  [LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
    Section 1 takes effect the day after compliance by the town 
board of the town of Cannon Falls with Minnesota Statutes, 
section 645.021, subdivision 3.
