relating to economic development; appropriating money for wastewater treatment
facility improvements in the city of Albert Lea.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

IMPROVEMENTS; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Albert Lea for design,
demolition, construction, and equipment improvements to upgrade the city's wastewater
treatment facility. This appropriation is available when the commissioner of management
and budget determines that sufficient resources have been committed to complete the project,
as required by Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.502. This is a onetime appropriation.
