A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for water quality improvement
at Twin Lake.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; WATER QUALITY PROJECT.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota
Pollution Control Agency for a grant to the Twin Lake Association in Hennepin County to
conduct and extend a water quality and recreational use improvement pilot project for two
years at Twin Lake. This grant must be used to contract for nonchemical, flow-through
water-quality improvement services, testing, necessary infrastructure, complementary
selective invasive weed control, training, and maintenance. This appropriation is available
until December 31, 2025.
