  1.4             for children; amending Minnesota Statutes 1999 
  1.5             Supplement, section 256B.056, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1999 Supplement, section 
  1.8   256B.056, is amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 9.  [PRESUMPTIVE ELIGIBILITY.] The commissioner may 
  1.10  implement presumptive eligibility for children under the age of 
  1.11  19, as authorized by United States Code, title 42, section 
  1.12  1396r-1a.
