  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing independent school 
  1.3             district No. 621, Mounds View, to use health and 
  1.4             safety revenue for new construction to replace 
  1.5             portable classrooms with indoor air quality problems. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [HEALTH AND SAFETY REVENUE; MOUNDS VIEW.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 124.83, 
  1.9   subdivision 6, independent school district No. 621, Mounds View, 
  1.10  is authorized to use up to $300,000 of its health and safety 
  1.11  revenue to replace portable classrooms with new construction of 
  1.12  classrooms. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
