  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to motor fuels; defining midgrade gasoline; 
  1.3             amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 239.751, by 
  1.4             adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 239.751, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 4a.  [MIDGRADE GASOLINE.] Midgrade gasoline is 
  1.9   gasoline having an octane rating of at least 88 but less than 
  1.10  91.  Midgrade gasoline may not be labeled or advertised for sale 
  1.11  as premium gasoline.
